Suede was, definitely, a hit in the 70s – it was a big part of the fashion industry offering not only a specific touch of glamour, but also comfort and warmth. It was perfect for the late autumn and the cold winter days! It was giving the people the freedom they needed in their daily wardrobe – you could be dressed casually for a day at the office and just by adding an accessory or two, you would get an outfit to be remembered and talked about weeks after any official event was over!
Suede has been paving its way back to the top for years now, but it was last fall/winter season that the big designers (such as Ralph Lauren) decided to bring it back for good! Fashion needed it. People as well.
This year, suede is everywhere – comfortable coats, fancy vests, polo shirts, skirts, and what not. We have chosen a few photos that had inspired us this season – a collection of wonderful works by Tory Burch, Ralph Lauren, Narciso Rodriguez and Derek Lam.
We have worked on a suede collection for quite some time and, now, we are excited to show it to our clients on our website and in our boutiques and partner stores all over the country.
The collection consists of high-wasted pants and skirts, short and long polo shirts, jumpsuits, beautiful vests with interesting cuts and elegant dresses.
The colors are classic – beige, oil green, grey, wine red and blue. The cuts are interesting and comfortable, offering every woman the warmth she needs in her clothes during the cold months of the year, and the shine she deserves every day. Suede is a fabric famous for its softness; it is nice to touch and is one of the most beautiful and practical winter fabrics! We love it! Once you wear it, you will too!
